Merry, Merry Christmas!

Well, this Christmas has come and gone! Christmas Eve Kelby and i went to his Aunt Tracy's to be with his family and then we drove all the way to Ringling so he could play guitars with one of his friends and didn't leave there until 4 in the morning. Now I'm usually fine with whatever he wants to do but me and this particular friend don't get along very well but for Kelby's sake i try to be nice! Anyhoooo, we are out there and they are playin and singing and talking about starting a band and all and I'm just ready to go HOME! I was up till 5 am the Christmas Eve morning and now I'm out in the middle of nowhere and it 4AM! So not only am i tired, I'm starting to get VERY irritated and gripey! So we finally go home and the first thing Kelby says when we walk in the door is " Lets Open Presents Now " !!!!!! I'm like , no thank you! I'm tired and gripey and not in the mood, lets just go to bed and get up in a few hours!!!! So he sets his alarm for like 7:30 but neither if us hear it and don't get up till 9 something! First he gets up and is all " come on babe, lets go open presents" I'm thinking "GO AWAY! I'M STILL TIRED AND GRIPEY!!! LET ME SLEEP! So i finally get out of bed and put some clothes on and go in there to open presents, i get his stocking down off the stand and leave mine up there cause for 2 years now i have had nothing in mine, but he tells me to get mine down too, so i grab it thinking there's something in it but i don't feel anything so i just set it down and he tells me to look in it and see whats there! So i stick my had down in there and feel something little and thin and i pull out a hundred dollar bill!!! He says " I always forget to buy stuff to go in there so I just put money in if because I know you have been wanting to get your new cowboy boots off lay-away" !!!!
( so that means i get new boots tomorrow!) So then we finished opening presents ( I got a freakin MP3 Player!!!) I also got a bunch of new shirts cause i always complain about not having any really nice shirts to wear and i got some new games for my Nintendo DS ( I've had to Nintendo since last Christmas with only one game to play,but now i have 3!I got kelby some wire stretchers so he could finally get his fence built for his horse, got him some new clothes and like i do every year i bought him a new hat !He kinda has a thing for hats, baseball and especially cowboy hats! I guess i can't really say anything cause i have a thing for purses ad shoes :) but what girl don't! Ayhoo, after we got done we went to his parents to open more presents and eat! I got some new Shoes :) and some other stuff, Kelby got a gun so that's his new toy! After we got done there we went to mom and dad's to be with the rest of the family, had a blast eatin and playin games! Waiting on Kris and Cassie to get there as usual ;) opened presents and then headed out! Kelby was still hungry ( i can't imagine why!) so we went back to his parents so he could eat and then went home!!! Can't wait till next year! Hope you guys all had a good Christmas!!

Ugggghhhhh........

Man, What a day! It has definitely been one of those " run around with your head cut off" kinda days. I got up this morning and came to work when it hit me that i don't have to much longer to find a new job ( for those of you that don't know, i have to find a new job because RFCOM can no longer afford to keep a secretary) so i have been trying to find something that is actually worth doing. I want something that i can better myself with, something that i like to do and will also pay the bills! And i am getting really frustrated because everywhere i go it's always the same..... i put my application in and never get a call back! Right now i have put it in at 3 different places that need help but so far one has already hired a girl and the other two still haven't called. You would think after putting "WE NEED HELP" in their window they wouldn't be so darn picky! I have had some kinda of experience so I'm kinda qualified for something i would hope. I guess God knows what he's doin so i should just be patient and wait on him. I'm just getting really, REALLY stressed out so if you think about it maybe pray for me and if you know of anybody that's hiring or whatever let me know :) And i guess thats all for now, i gotta go run more errands and i still have about an hours worth of work to do !!!

Lazy Day

Not alot to say today, but i haven't posted anything in a while! I guess my life isn't as exciting as most!! I just decided to take a break from those boring work orders and eat some lunch so here i am typing about nothing! Is it just me or do the weekends never last as long as you would like? Because it just seems like yesterday that it was Friday, i got paid and was looking forward to the weekend and now it's gone! That fast? Not very fun, yesterday was a very lazy day for me and Kelby! We laid around and watched tv, hung out with Jesse and took a pretty long nap! Kelby slept from about 2:30pm till some where around 8 then he decided he wanted to get up and go to the store , so we loaded up and went down to Hop n Sack , got something to drink and went back home! He then decided he wanted to watch a movie , (i usually cringe when he wants to pick it out because as much as i like , Dances with Wolves, Wyatt Earp, Young Guns 1 and 2, Lonesome Dove and Siverado you can only watch them so many times before your ready to kill the person who made them!!) But this time he decided on a western that we own but have never watched called 'The Quick and The Dead' with Gene Hackman, Russel Crowe and Sharon Stone in it. The first ten or fifteen minutes were ok but then it started getting really boring so i start on my HUGE pile of ironing, i just happen to look over on the couch where Kelby is laying and find him dozing of again, when he catches me looking at him and just smiles real big and says "What" cause he knows the rules about going to sleep on the couch, it's for napping not goin to bed on! But he insist i let him fall asleep for at least ten minutes before moving him to the bed, why i don't know but i guess to keep him happy i do what he says :) After he falls asleep i try to wake him very sweetly and gentle but that hasn't worked out very well because he still gets mad so i guess i might as well do something for him to be mad about :) LOL!!! So the sweet and gentle wake up call is no longer in service! But he usually doesn't remember the next day so it's all good!!
And on that note i guess i'm gona go run some errands and get a few more christmas presents! Until next time, I'm Debbie Loring signing off.........

An Oklahoma Winter

O how I hate cold weather!! Today i woke up to ice everywhere, which means having to go out and start my car to let it warm up at least 20 min before i can leave and for some reason they don't believe in heat here at my office! So i'm sitting here with my coat on, tryin not to freeze to death and thinking about finding the heat guy and letting him know your supposed to run the heater when it's like 80 below in the building! But
on the other hand, an Oklahoma Winter is kinda pretty. When you look outside and seethe ice hanging from the trees and fences across the prairie and some how your forget about the cold and just soak up the beauty and quietness of it all. I can remember being a kid a praying for some kind of snow or ice so maybe mom would let us out of school! Although it didn't always work , she was gracious enough to let us out sometimes! I can still remember it all, getting all our winter clothes on, hats, boots, gloves ( which most of the time we never had any so we used socks !!) coats , and scarfs. It was so much fun being the first one to walk in the snow and leave your foot prints , even though it wasn't to long before the others came and left their's!! And trying to get enough snow to make Frosty, even though he was full of leaves half the time we didn't care, we usually had a Daddy Snowman, a Mommy Snowman and a Baby!(we usually ended up putting our clothes on them , like our hats and scarves so by the time we got done with them we would be freezing cold but still out there playin!!) After a while we got tired of playing with them and took back all our clothes and had naked snowmen :) They didn't always last to long bacause some one usually got mad about something and knocked down one, if not all of them! So i guess it's time for another winter and that means more memories to make!

The Love of my Life

I guess i can begin by introducing him to everyone that doesn't already know him! This is Kelby Gene Loring, the love my life! I used to make fun of people that said " O this was love at first sight" , I mean how corny is that? But it's so true because thats what happened to me, I saw him walking up our driveway and i knew right then and there that he was the one for me. We hung out and talked and two days later he asked me to be his girlfriend and that soon turned into wife! He is everything i ever wanted in a man, he's so soft hearted and kind, funny and cute, caring and devoted, loving and loyal and Extremely Handsome! He makes me smile and laugh every minute we are together, and even when we aren't i can't help but smile every time i think of him! He works in the oil field for a company called Orr Enterprise as Pump Truck Operator. He works very hard everyday to make sure we are taken care of with everything we need and for that i can never thank him enough. When i think of growing old i think of him, sitting beside me in his recliner with the tv up so loud because neither of us can hear any more and waiting on him to get back from his coffee break down at the quick stop with all the other old men in the town! He is my everything and i thank God every day for giving him to me, I love him more than life itself.
